How to speed up your computer

Use a vacuum hose to suck out some of the dust that might be causing your desktop to heat up more then it should which in turn causes it to work slower, next thing you can do is make sure you don't have any programs running on start up, if your on Windows XP or earlier then use the "Run" command and if your on Vista or higher then open your start menu and type at the bottom in the "Search" bar "msconfig" then goto the Start up tab and uncheck everything(stay away from the services tab), next thing to do is download iObits GameBooster(google it)
